On your Marks…. All Set for the 2010 SECF CHAMPIONSHIP

This weekend the Malta Racing Club will be organising the 2010 SECF Championship reserved for French Horses. For this year’s event a record number of horses have been registered to participate in the five different championships, namely:

Prix de Vincenne for the Premier Class
Prix D’Enghien for the Gold Class
Prix de Cabourg for the Silver Class
Prix de Cagnes Sur Mer for the Bronze Class
Prix de Caen for the Copper Class

On Friday 14th May, the programme starts at 18:00 with 2 pony races, and will continue with the heats; 2 Copper, 3 Bronze, 2 Silver, 2 Gold, 1 Premier and a Flat race. The Sunday programme begins at 14:00, with the remaining heats, especially the 2 Premier races that are the most popular with the public.

A good crowd is expected to attend what looks like to be one of the best racing meetings of the 2010 horse-racing season. Lots of surprises might be in store for all of us to enjoy two days of sport and racing at the Malta Racing Club this weekend.
