Sette Giugno Cup Final

Next Saturday the 27th programme of the season will be raced at the Marsa Racetrack with 9 races of which the main attraction is undoubtedly the Sette Giugno Cup Final.

On the 25th May two races were held from which 10 horses gained the right to participate in this final.  Amongst these we have Tazza l-Kbira winner Cloria Victis who was once again driven by Charles Degiorgio and also managed to register the best timing in this championship with an average of 1’13”9/km.

Because of this many are awaiting this final with a lot of expectations to see if the national record over the 2140m distance will be superseeded. The current record is 1’13”4 set by Orcas Bac last October and if it is broken there is a special bonus amounting to 2700 euro.

This is the 4th edition of this cup with the previous finals being won by Think Yatzee, Zilver Boko and Orcas Bac. Total prize money is 2400 euro and trophies will also be awarded to the first four finishers.

The final will be the 7th one of the programme and is scheduled for 4:20 p.m.
