Sadly we have been informed that the General Secratary of The Malta Racing Club Mr Twanny Bugeja passed away this morning.

Twanny had been involved in the horse racing scene for the past 35 years. Apart from being a contributor to the local newspapers L-Orizzont and It-Torca he was also the Marsa racetrack's official commentator.

His jounalistic achievment included also the renowned horse racing television programme 'Korsa' which was aired on the national television station for many years.

It is a sad day for the Malta Racing Club and all horse racing followers. On behalf of everyone we convey our deepest condolences to his wife and children as well as his family members.
