Next Sunday we will have the Krafft Championship Final for Silver Category horses.  This championship has been made possible thanks to the intervention of Mr Shawn Pete Azzopardi who is the local representative of Krafft food for horses.

The qualification races for this championship were held on Sunday 29th and Tuesday 31st March in which a total of 86 horses participated in 8 races so that 32 of them went on to the semi final stage.

On Sunday 12th April, three semi finals were held in which 30 horses took part and from which 12 qualified for the final but on Sunday only 11 will be racing as one of the horses was forfeited before the draws.  Amongst these 11 horses one also finds the winner of last year’s Silver category championship – the mare Zizazimoko.

The race is the 7th one of the programme and starts at 4:15 pm. Over a distance of 2140m this final has a total of €1200 in prize money.
