5 Premier Category Races

Next Sunday the Marsa Race Track will host one of the best programmes of the season in which all the Premier Category horses will compete in five races leading up to two finals to be raced on 7th June and which will be transmitted live all over Europe because they will be PMU races.

French trotters will take part in three qualifying races for the Prix de Vincennes sponsored by the French Trotting Association. A total of 26 horses will be looking to find a place in the twelve horse final.

During the same programme we will also have two semi finals for the Gold Category horses from the same championship so that we will find out who will be the twelve finalists for the Prix d’Enghien which is also a PMU race to take place on 7th June.

Eighteen non French Premier Category horses will be racing for the Sette Giugno Cup in two semi finals from which twelve will go on to the final. This will be the first time that this final is a PMU race meaning that bets are taken on it whilst being transmitted live internationally. All the semi finals will be raced over the 2140m distance.

The programme starts at 1:45 pm and it opens with two normal category races over the 2640m distance.  One of the largest crowds of the season is expected to attend due to the high level of races on the programme.
