The Malta Racing Club congratulations Rodney Gatt for becoming the driver to win the most races in one season.

During meeting 44 he took his 80th victory with M.R.Hungry Eyes to equalise the same number of victories as Charles Degiorgio in the 2002/2003 season and Noel Baldacchino in 2016.

It was with the same M.R.Hungry Eyes that on Sunday 21st October he took his 81st win making them 82 in the subsequent race with Okay dei Ronchi.

As there are still a number of meetings until the end of the year one can only assume that this number will continue to increase.
