WHAT THE SUNDAY PAPERS SAY...

On the Sunday papers only the two Maltese newspaper "It-Torca" and "Il-Mument" that report about the last meeting held on Friday evening. We must say that this is quite disappointing that none of the other papers had any report, when during Friday's meeting an international ladies trotting race was held and we witnessed a magnificent race in the Premier Division.

"It-Torca" writes "In Vitro Du Bourg Confirms Again", as the crowd favourite registered its 32nd career win in the Premier Class. There is also mention of the International Ladies Race won by Swedish Driver Louise Medelberg.

In a separate article "It-Torca" also previews today's race card, with some winning tips for its readers.

"Il-Mument" Kenneth Vella writes about the famous horse "Commander Crowe" returning to victory in Finland, about the "2000" and "1000" Guineas Flat races, that open the Newmarket Flat racing season in England, Friday's race meeting and official results and about today's races and preview in Malta. Kenneth also mentions about Charlo Debono's participation in Naples at the next leg of the Mediterranean Horse Racing Union Championship for 2011.
