Mediterranean & Black Sea Championship

The first leg of the Mediterranean and Black Sea Championship will be held at the Malta Equidrome on Sunday 5th June.

Even though in these last years participation in this championship has not been as enthusiastic as before, it still offers a great opportunity for our drivers to gain different experiences.

During the pandemic, organisation of the different legs had to adapt according to the current situation but this year we will be keeping with the tradition of hosting the first trot leg in Malta. Malta will be represented by Paul Galea with Martin Cormy from France, Walter d’Ambrogio from Italy and Gheorghe Iulian Tanase from Romania.

The race is the 5th one of the programme for Silver category horses. Participating drivers will be awarded points according to their order of finish. Another three legs are planned to be hosted at the racetracks of Cagnes-sur-Mer, Romania and Siracusa.
