On Sunday 11th June 2023 the Malta Racing Club organised a seven-race meeting at the Malta Equidrome which featured the much awaited Le Trot Championship Finals. The Société d'Encouragement à l'élevage du Cheval Français has been throughout the past years promoting the Trotteur Francias equine race through the sponsorship of Championships in many countries where French bred horses compete in competitive trot racing.
This year five finals were organised for each of the racing categories of horses in Malta on the 2140meters distance, in a racing meeting that was very well attended by the public in general. Trophies and prize money were distributed to the first five finishers in each category by representatives of the Malta Racing Club council and the Malta Equidrome. The Malta Racing Club would like to congratulate all winners on the evening.
