Next Sunday sees the start of the first championship for this season which as last year will be once again sponsored by Assikura Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Like last year this championship is open to the Gold and Bronze categories and next Sunday we have 5 heats consisting of 11 horses each from the Gold Category. Twenty horses will go on to the semi finals to be raced on Sunday 15th February so that on Sunday 1st March we will have the final consisting of 10 horses.  From the 55 horses enlisted we have 4 new horses.

A total of 1600 euro will be distributed in the final as well as trophies for the first four finishers.

The championship reserved for the Bronze category will commence on Sunday 22nd February with the semi finals to be raced on Sunday 8th March and the final on Thursday 19th March.  The registrations for this class will be taken during the next enrollment.
