During next Sunday’s programme we will have the first three finals after the summer break when the Silver, Bronze and Copper categories compete in three condition races which are being sponsored by the Finnish company Velj.Wahlsten Oy represented in Malta by P & M Farrugia (Tan-Niger). This company manufactures all kinds of horse and driver equipment.

 

The three winning owners will be receiving a commemorative presentation blanket whilst the first four finishers in each race will receive a trophy that has been commissioned especially for these races thanks also to Ronald James of Marindex trophies who designed and manufactured these original trophies.

 

One can easily say that the qualification races which were held during the three programmes on 11th, 16th and 18th October were very competitive ones and reached a very good level especially the Silver category as from the seven races only the winners were guaranteed a place in the final whilst the other five horses were chosen according to their timings in second place.
