The Malta Racing Club Council is planning to organise a Monte Race on Friday 15th April with 8 horses four of which will be driven by Female Swedish drivers and four by Maltese drivers. This race will be gymkhana over 2140m.

The race will be for Silver Category with the possibility of also having a Premier Category Race.

Prize money will be more than that of a normal raace where it is planned that the first prize for Silver will be 630 euro and for Premier 900 euro. A token will also be given to the winner of the race.

Because there are certain preparations for this kind of race both for owners and drivers, those interested to enlist their horses are to contact Mark Consiglio at the Malta Racing Club. The race enlistment will be done on 2nd and 3rd April and if more than 8 horses want to race then these will be chosen according to their points.

The Swedish drivers are the following with statistics for the last 5 years:

Asa Svensson (104 victories)
Emilia Leo (35 victories)
Iina Aho (26 victories)
Nathalie Blom (12 victories)

The Maltese drivers will be chosen by the owners.
